MAHSHID SAYS ABOUT HERSELF
In 2010 I was looking for something to help me with my energy and day to day stress. I tried Yoga and fell in love with Yoga instantly.
I would wake up 6 O’clock in the morning to catch the Yoga program on TV to get my morning exercise and then go to the yoga studio a couple of times a week to get guidance. I craved for the peacefulness and strength that comes with it.
In 2013, I decided to take the Teaching Training program to advance my knowledge. I wanted to be able to teach and help others so they could get the benefits I got from practicing Yoga. I started teaching right after my program in 2014.
Practicing yoga has changed my life in a positive way. I am stronger physically, and have better posture. Yoga has helped me be less susceptible to lung and chest infections , my migraine headaches are gone and I use breathing techniques to calm down in stressful situations. Since I sit a lot most of the day in front of the computer doing yoga has helped my lower back pains evanesce.
My goal of instructing yoga is to encourage others to love their body, who they are and take care of it; we only have one body and it’s not replaceable.
My teaching philosophy is mindful practice, encourage students to embrace and love their body, accept and work with what they have to achieve more flexibility and a positive level of energy. Encouraging observation, immersion and noting the body rather than judging and focusing on limitations.
