‘I want to start doing Yoga’ – We’ve all been there.
Deciding to bring Yoga into your life is the most empowering and rewarding decision you could ever make. However, that decision, the inspiration, is only the first step, and it’s easy to get stuck there – we’re here to make sure you don’t.
Don’t be intimidated, don’t hesitate and never turn your back on the opportunity of Yoga!
Here, at Yin Yang Yoga Loft, we have not only the expertise, but also the passion and excitement of introducing yoga to beginners. Here are a few things we encourage you to consider:
1. Choosing the Right Yoga class
The yoga style you practice should suit your personality, your fitness goals, and your current physical capabilities. Yoga can accommodate any level, but you should have a good understanding of the various styles and options.
Are you looking for Gentle Flow Community class ($10 drop-in) or Yin Yoga, focusing on breath, stretch and relaxation?
Or you are more interested in Align & Flow Vinyasa Yoga – a more energizing style to build strength and endurance?
At Yin Yang Yoga Loft, we offer both types of Yoga Classes as well as our unique Yin Yang Mix Yoga, where you can experience a harmony of both styles and enjoy all benefits of the practice.
2. Small Classes & Personal Attention.
When you start doing Yoga, always choose a place where you feel comfortable and at peace. We know the importance of personal attention, especially when it comes to beginners, which is why we offer small classes, allowing the instructor to get to know each student’s needs and adjusting the practice to the level of the class participants. With new students, we make sure to focus your attention on safe practice and understanding all proper pose alignments.
If you have specific needs and prefer a more personalized approach, we also offer Private sessions either at the studio or your home – Contact us for more information.
3. Knowledgeable & Experienced Instructors.
We strongly value the importance of responsible practice, which is why all our Instructors are Yoga Alliance Certified (RYT 200) with many additional hours of self-education and workshops, training with the best Masters in North America.
As a beginner, you will learn to restore the connection to your body through a better understanding of its movements. In our classes, we teach you how to work with your body, not against it. You will also learn the common modifications to each pose, accommodating for various skill and flexibility levels, as well as any other limitations or concerns. At Yin Yang Yoga Loft, we employ the best methods when integrating strength and mobility exercises, helping you build a strong and flexible body while advancing at your own pace.
Namaste & see you on the mat!
